Hegels filosofiske system.
skrift kunne udkomme i.
"The first article in
Heiberg's new journal was his book review of Rothe's Doctrine of the
Trinity and Reconciliation, which was the cause of all the controversy.
At last Heiberg had created his own forum, where the work could be published
with no disclaimer or editorial note to warn off the readers. Although
this review does sporadically touch on Rothe's book, it seems that Heiberg's
main objective with the piece is to defend Hegel's philosophy against
its critics. [...] The final text featured in the present volume is the
last chapter or 'preface' from Kierkegaard's pseudonymous book, Prefaces.
In this text, Heiberg is alluded to directly and indirectly many times
and made the subject of merciless satire. It will be noted that this was
wholly in keeping with the standard practice of the journalistic literature
of the day, and Heiberg himself had won a wide reputation for his ability
to humiliate his opponents publicly by means of his polemical witings.
Kierkegaard's book Prefaces is, as the title indicates, a series
of prefaces to different works without the works themselves. The final
preface, translated here, is purportedly a preface to a planned philosophical
journal entitled Philosophical Considerations, which Kierkegaard's
pseudonymous author, Nicolaus Notabene, says he wants to publish to encourage
work in philosophy in Denmark. [...] This text takes up in a satirical
way some issues from the ongoing discussion about Hegelian philosophy"(Introduction).
Selvom Heibergs hegelske
i guldalderkulturen.
